Many visitors to Rome are fascinated by Via Giulia area, and at From Home to Rome we are delighted to announce that our portfolio is going to include one more accommodation in this part of the city center: a beautiful one bedroom apartment in the prestigious Palazzo Sacchetti, one of the most important palazzos of this Renaissance street, so rich in history. You will find a description and a complete gallery at this address.
The undeniable plus to this small flat, perfect for a bachelor, a couple or even a young family who wish to be in the heart of Rome, has a completely independent entrance on Vicolo del Cefalo. Another ancient Roman street (ask about its history when you check in!) that gave the property its name.
Independent access is a great convenience in Rome: whatever the reason for your stay, moving luggage and bulky objects, from strollers to sports equipment, will be easier and less tiring (independent access = fewer sets of stairs!).
While staying in Vicolo del Cefalo you will find the usual care for details that sets apart the properties managed by From Home to Rome: a small kitchenette complete with all the basics to prepare meals from scratch (including an oven and fridge with freezer space), along with a bathroom where you will also find a washing machine.
The main space is defined by a canopy above which lies a comfortable double bed: below it, a sofa bed doubling the sleeping space. An unusual and quirky solution that reflects the informal nature of this accommodation.
The dining table for 4 can also be used for work (the apartment is equipped with WiFi, has independent heating and can also rely on an A/C system).
At From Home to Rome, we love the way this apartment makes use of the ancient nature of Palazzo Sacchetti: for instance, there are built-in spaces for storing luggage and your Roman shopping, and the building’s history and modern furnishings are a perfect match. Just some of the extra elements that will make this small apartment pleasing not only to those who will treat themselves to a cityscape in Rome, but also to those who will want to stay here as they work remotely.
A few minutes away from Vicolo del Cefalo not only will you find Campo de’ Fiori or Ponte Sisto with its access to Trastevere, but also Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican, Piazza Navona and Piazza Farnese, the Pantheon and Largo di Torre Argentina.
Without forgetting, of course, Via Giulia itself: every door down this street is worth exploring, with its noble dwellings, artisans and restaurants. And Vicolo del Cefalo is the ideal place to start doing just that!
