Caravaggio at Palazzo Barberini: the must-see exhibition of 2025
- March 14, 2025
- Barberini area, Museums
If you think there was a post with a similar title to this one relatively recently, you are not mistaken: the latest addition to our portfolio is in exactly the same building as this other apartment, and the reason why it is important to point this out will be revealed a little further below!
In recent years, the Sallustiano area north of Piazza Barberini has become something of a “secret in plain sight”. It’s incredibly central, with easy access to Termini, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain or the Borghese Gallery and Park, but it’s also virtually unknown to first-time visitors who prefer to stay closer to the main attractions (Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, the Colosseum, the Jewish Quarter…). Now the tide is turning and more and more tourists want to stay in a more residential area, without giving up the feeling of having almost everything at their fingertips.
Enter our (new) managed apartment on Via Toscana. Toscana 6 sleeps up to 5 people, and as it is owned by the same person, you can be sure that the care put into the recent renovation is the same as the other apartment. Features include a washer/dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, smart TVs to log in to your favorite streaming services and, last but not least, a fully independent heating system that doubles as air conditioning in the summer.
Note that the fifth bed is actually a single bed in the main bedroom: as such, we think it would be ideal for a family travelling with a younger child. Don’t need it? Then the Toscana 6 is perfect for two couples travelling together, as the beds in the extra room can be converted into a double bed!
If your dream is to hang out on sun-kissed rooftops while in Italy, and perhaps mingle with the locals, then this is the accommodation for you. As with Toscana 1, there is an unusual deal for those who live in the building: everyone is welcome to enjoy the communal terrace on the roof. You can read, have breakfast, listen to music: just bring what you need and, of course, respect your Roman neighbors! Opening times are available in the building itself and are updated seasonally.
Note that this space can be rented in the evenings at a special rate for social gatherings, private parties and the like – if you’re interested, contact us through our contact page and we’ll forward your message to the owners!
In the meantime, you can read all about Toscana 6 here.
