Looking for inspiration? Manara 29 has it in spades! The latest addition to our accommodation portfolio, this apartment in the heart of Rome’s Trastevere district is housed in a historic building. With high ceilings and large windows, Manara 29 is full of natural light… and personality!
The meticulous renovation project has made the most of the space, placing a second bedroom (with en-suite bathroom) on a mezzanine level and creating spaces for guests to work, recharge and read throughout. Modern and antique art and furnishings blend beautifully to inspire visitors – in fact, at From Home to Rome we recommend this accommodation to artists looking for the right atmosphere to be open to ideas or to be creative!
Manara 29 is also ideal for up to two couples or a family of four. Please note, however, that this apartment has 72 steps from street level to the entrance door of the flat, as the building is not equipped with an elevator. There is also an internal staircase leading up to the attic and the second bedroom and bathroom. For this reason, we cannot recommend Manara 29 to families with small children or tourists with walking difficulties.
Trastevere’s most authentic alleys and squares are just a stone’s throw away from your door if you choose to stay at Manara 29. The views from the apartment windows are to die for: children playing in the piazza below, which is also a popular weekday food market. Shops, small boutiques, grocers and bakeries dot the streets below, while many off-the-beaten-track attractions are just a short walk away.
